Founded in 2025, the Palmetto Citizens Foundation is an independent nonprofit dedicated to building stronger, healthier and more resilient communities through education, charitable giving and meaningful partnerships.
Created by Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union, the Foundation was established to expand the credit union’s longstanding commitment to philanthropic endeavors within the communities they serve. Today, we invest in programs that strengthen economic stability, increase access to essential resources and create opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.
Our work is rooted in the belief that when neighbors have the tools, support and opportunities they need, entire communities grow stronger. Through collaboration, thoughtful investment and a focus on long-term impact, we work every day to uplift those we serve and create lasting, positive change.
