The Palmetto Citizens Foundation has a fun, hands-on volunteer opportunity coming up with the Midlands Reading Consortium at Forest Lake Elementary School—and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Time: 4:30 PM (check-in/setup) – 6:30 PM
Location: Forest Lake Elementary Gymnasium
This family event will welcome 300+ students and parents, and volunteers will help lead exciting hands-on activities like slime-making, human coding, and creature creations. No experience needed—materials, prep, and support will all be provided!
It’s a great chance to:
• Give back to local students and families
• Enjoy a fun, lighthearted evening
• Team build with fellow Foundation members
• Share Palmetto Citizens pride in the community
We need 10 volunteers, so grab a friend or two and sign up! Let’s show how our Foundation members make a difference—one student at a time.
